BAKERSFIELD, CA -- A Kern County jury has convicted a young woman of first-degree murder for the death of an elderly woman more than 3 years ago.
Angelique Nash was found guilty Tuesday for the death of 81-year-old Dorothy Session, found dead in her home April 14, 2010. She was killed during a burglary committed by her, Katila Nash and David Moses. Katila Nash and David Moses have already been convicted. Moses is serving a term of life without parole. Katila Nash is serving a sentence of 25 years to life.
Two juries deadlocked 10-2 and 11-1 for finding Nash guilty. Nash will be formally sentenced next month.
She faces a maximum sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole.
