DELANO- The body of missing person John Holguin Espinoza has been located inside his car in the Friant Canal east of Delano.
Delano police say the case is now being investigated as a homicide.
Police say Espinoza, 88, was last seen at his residence in Delano Wednesday afternoon but was en route to the 1000 block of Dover Place.
Police say his body was found Thursday night around 8:30 p.m.
