BAKERSFIELD, CA- Kern County Sheriff's Deputies were involved in a standoff with an armed man in Northwest Bakersfield.
Deputies responded to a report of a shot fired inside a home in the 3200 block of Chuckwagon Street just after 10:30p.m. Saturday.
Deputies say Ronnie Fangmeyer, 30, was inside the home, armed with a shotgun. They say he had fired a shot towards another person inside the home during a possible domestic dispute.
Several people, including a three-year-old child, were able to leave the home.
The SWAT team was called in. After several hours, Fangmeyer was taken into custody without incident.
Fangmeyer was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, shooting in an inhabited dwelling, and child endangerment.
