BAKERSFIELD, CA- A local group is helping new mothers and their babies in need at Kern Medical Center with basic supplies.
Trinity Anglican Church members and community volunteers put together 'baby bundles' each month for the neediest newborns at KMC.
The babies are either premature or sick and can't go home to their famiies just yet, or are heading into the foster care system.
Each bundle has 14 items such as diapers, wipes, pajamas, and caps.
The group is holding a diaper drive for the baby bundle charity Tuesday at 316 H Street in Bakersfield.
