BAKERSFIELD, CA -- Police have concluded their investigation into a fatal collision between a driver and a bicyclist -- in southwest Bakersfield.
The crash took place on the night of September 17. The victim was riding his bike when he was hit by a car in the 4800 block of Coffee Road.
Ashley Bell, 26, of Bakersfield was the driver.
Police say alcohol and drugs don't appear to be a factor in this accident. They've now forwarded the case to the district attorney's office for review.
