BAKERSFIELD, CA - Court documents reveal disturbing new details in the case of Billy Ray Johnson who is charged with a series of rapes in east Bakersfield last summer.

Documents show Johnson is accused of brutally attacking his victims, and in some cases, binding them with zip ties.

A grand jury indicted Johnson on 21 felony counts.

Prosecutors say along with raping his victims, he also attacked children.

Documents show over a two-month period last summer, Johnson is accused of breaking into four homes at night, raping three women and assaulting a fourth by hitting her in the head five times with his gun.

Documents state he is also accused of victimizing five girls, ages 17, 13, 11, 9 and 7.

Prosecutors say he molested the 11-year-old after raping her mom.

Documents show Johnson is accused of raping two of the women using a condom and cleaning up evidence on the third victim.

In one case, documents state he is accused of forcing one of the women to shower after raping her, and in another case, washing that victim in a bathtub.

Documents show during the attacks, Johnson would whisper to some of the women, "I'm going to rape you," and "I'll tell you a secret, I've been watching you."

Johnson's next court appearance is scheduled for February 4th. Trial is scheduled to begin in May.

Johnson's attorney says his client did not commit these crimes.

Johnson is being held in jail on $5 million bail.
