BAKERSFIELD, CA- A suspected drunk driver lost control and crashed into an apartment complex in southwest Bakersfield Wednesday night.
Bakersfield police said just before midnight, Michael Pennington, 33, was driving southbound on Ashe Road.
Officers said Pennington was driving at a high rate of speed, lost control, and crashed into an apartment complex in the 2600 block of Ashe Road.
He suffered moderate injuries.
Officers said no one inside the apartment buildings were injured.
Pennington was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
