Sheriff's detectives are investigating a shooting overnight that left a man shot in the head in Rosedale.
The shooting happened around 11:30 Thursday night off of Rosedale Highway west of Verdugo Lane. Detectives say the man have been at the Lone Oak Bar right before the shooting.
The man was taken to Kern Medical Center where he later died of his injuries around 5:20 a.m. Detectives say they found a gun at the scene.
