The man charged with hitting and killing a pregnant woman while allegedly drunk earlier this year has been arrested and booked on domestic abuse charges.
Police say 26-year-old Joseph Maine was under the influence when he slammed into a car at Monitor Street and Fairview Road January 17.
He faces second-degree murder charges in the death of Vanessa Carrillo and her unborn child, who were in the car.
Now, Maine may face another felony charge after he was booked around 7:45 Friday morning on a count of spousal abuse.
Maine was out of custody on bail in connection with the deadly wreck.
He is due in court Tuesday on the latest charge.
