BAKERSFIELD, CA -- Bakersfield police are looking for a man they say was able to steal a large amount of fuel after damaging a gas pump on Taft Highway.
Police say the man, was fueling his: late model silver Chevrolet pick-up at the fuel pumps of the Arco AM/PM station at 2051 Taft Hwy on May 22. Once he began fueling he damaged the pump in such a way that the pump continued to fuel without tracking the dollar amount. Police describe the man as black, late 20’s to early 30’s, 5’8”-10”, medium/heavy build,
wearing a black baseball cap and dark gray sweatshirt.
