A farmworker found a body in an orchard Friday morning.
Sheriff's detectives were called to Whisler Road, about a half mile east of Highway 43. They say the partially buried body was found in the Poso Creek river bed.
It's believed to be the body of a man that has been there for an extended period of time.
The Sheriff's Department is investigating the death as a homicide since the circumstances are unknown.
