BAKERSFIELD, CA -- Bakersfield police are looking for two people they say removed goods from a Lowe's shopping cart from a victim who was distracted.
Police say On June 12, the man and woman were in the parking lot of Lowe’s Home Improvement store at 1601 Columbus St. when they removed a bag of purchased goods from a shopping cart of the victim who was distracted while helping an elderly woman load her car.
Police say the couple were in the company of a child and are described as a Hispanic man, 25-30, 5’5”-7”, 180 lbs., short black hair and a mustache, wearing a blue work shirt and khaki pants.
The woman is described as Hispanic, 25-30, 5’4”-5”, 230-250 lbs., long black/red hair, wearing a red t-shirt with white collar, blue jean capris, and brown sandals.
They were believed to be driving a 2004-08 silver Honda Ridgeline, sport utility vehicle, unknown plate.
