BAKERSFIELD, CA- The Outlets at Tejon ranch officially open Thursday at 10 a.m. The outlets are near the base of the Grapevine.
Wednesday night, thousands of shoppers got a preview of what to expect from The Outlets at Tejon Ranch.
It was part of a VIP charity event, offering early access to stores.
"Bakersfield really needs a place like this. Especially a short distance from our place. It took us only 30 minutes to get here," said shopper Gigi Delrosario.
"This is great. Before you would have to drive an hour plus to get to Tulare and it's nice to have something so local. It's good to support the Tejon Ranch and it's just going to be great. It created a ton of jobs," said shopper Anne Karrer,
The $90 million shopping center offers more than 70 stores.
"Pottery barn outlet, Le Creuset, those are big. I think this is the first Pottery Barn Outlet in California. Ya, Cabi Outlet. A lot of clothes, Brooks Brothers," said Karrer.
"I'm really excited. In fact, I think H&M is the store that I'm most excited about," said shopper Nina Ha.
There are some incentives for shopping Thursday. Some of the stores are offering specials.
Pottery Barn is offering 20% off one item.
The first 100 shoppers in line at H&M Thursday will get an all access fashion pass, worth up to $300. Also, if you bring in old clothes to be recycled before noon, you can enter to win a 100-dollar H&M gift card.
The first 200 customers at Nike will get ear buds and a $10 gift card.
The GAP and Brooks Brothers is offering 15% off your purchase.
