DELANO, Calif.– Detectives arrested a man Tuesday for the murder of John Holguin Espinoza, who was found dead in the FriantCanal in September, 2013.
John Albay Galafate was arrested at 7:45 a.m. for murder, kidnapping, carjacking, elderly abuse, and robbery.
Espinoza was a World War II veteran who owned a barber shop in Delano at the time of his death. He was 88 years old when Delano police found his body in the trunk of a vehicle.
