BAKERSFIELD, CA - Police are asking for help identifying a suspect wanted for sexual assault.
The assault occurred in the early morning of Oct. 2 at Heritage Park, The Bakersfield Police Department says. According to police, the female victim was sleeping in the park when she was woken by the suspect sexually assaulting her.
The suspect is described as a black male, in his 20s, 5 feet ten inches tall, with razor bumps on his face. A computer generated image based on the suspect's description has been released to help with identification.
