BAKERSFIELD, CA - The man convicted of second degree murder in September for the June, 2013 shooting of a man he found with his wife was sentenced Monday.
Gerald Harris, 52, was sentenced to 40 years to life for the murder of Dante Breeding. Harris shot Breeding in the head with a shotgun after discovering him with his wife. The Kern County District Attorney's Office says Harris had previously warned Breeding to stay away from his residence before the incident.
