BAKERSFIELD, CA - At least 6 apartments are severely damaged after an early morning fire broke out in an apartment building at the Springs complex in Southwest Bakersfield. Officials say 4 other units were evacuated.
The fire started around 2:45am Tuesday. It took crews about 20 minutes to put the fire out.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation, but fire officials tell 17 News it appears to be electrical in nature.
No one was injured.
