The Kern County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for the kidnap, rape, and child molest of a six year old female victim.
On April 1st, 2013 at about 3:00 pm the suspect approached the victim as she played in her yard near the area of Buckley Ave. and Garber Way in southeast Bakersfield.
The suspect forced the victim to an isolated area and sexually assaulted her. The suspect then fled the area on foot. The suspect may be a transient and frequent the Rexland Acres area.
If anyone has information on this suspect, they are asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 661-861-3110 or Secret Witness at 661-322-4040. Anonymous text tips can be sent to TIP411 (847411). Just type “KCSO” prior to the message.
