BAKERSFIELD, CA - A Bakersfield man was convicted Tuesday for the murder of his one-month-old son.
A jury found James Willis Johnson guilty of second degree murder, assault and felony child endangerment in the death of Jordan Johnson.
The baby was found dead in an apartment on Idaho Street in November 2010. He had been burned and had broken limbs.
Johnson faces 25 years to life in prison when he's sentenced next month.
The baby's mother, Denise Belmonte, was sentenced in January to 15 years in prison for voluntary manslaughter, for failing to protect her baby.
