A teen convicted of beating an elderly Bakersfield woman to death received her sentenced Tuesday morning. After an emotional slide show of pictures recapping the victim's life. "You are my sunshine my only sunshine."

Last month, Katila Nash's sentencing was continued for her role in the murder of 81-year-old Dorothy Session back in 2010.  As Judge Gary Friedman sentenced Nash to 25-years-to life in prison she showed no emotion. But she was visibly crying as Session's daughter spoke and a slide show played about her mother's life.

"It's hard for me to say whether it was actual remorse in the six weeks of trial all I saw was a lot of laughing joking with co-defendants none of the three took trial that seriously," says prosecutor David Wilson.

In September, a jury found Nash and David Moses guilty of first degree murder. Moses has already been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. The judge declared a mistrial for Katila Nash's sister, Angelique. Her re-trial is scheduled to begin next week.
