Two men pleaded guilty Tuesday to kidnapping and robbing a postal worker in Taft in 2009.
Raul Ojeda, 42 and 26-year-old Daniel Diaz entered the guilty pleas Tuesday in federal court to charges of aggravated robbery of mail, money and other United States property.
According to court documents, both defendants admitted that on October 16, 2009, they carried out a plan to kidnap and rob the driver of a U.S. Postal Service truck while he was performing his duties in Taft.
Both admitted to taking more than $12,000 in cash and more than $1,100 in checks.
