BAKERSFIELD, CA -- Bakersfield Police are searching for a man who reportedly robbed the Dollar General store on 4th Street last month.
Police say on Tuesday, December 10, 2013, at approximately 10:00 P.M. officers responded to the Dollar General, 401 Union Avenue, regarding a robbery that had just occurred.
The reporting party informed the officers that the suspect entered the store and selected merchandise and then concealed the merchandise into his own bag.
An employee confronted the suspect who brandished a knife and fled out of the business with the merchandise. No one was injured. Police describe the suspect as a: Black man, No further information.
