ARVIN, CA -- Officials with the Arvin Community Services District say after testing, the water is now safe to drink. On Friday, the district had issued a boil water order for tap water used for drinking and cooking purposes.
A 40-year-old tree fell and uprooted an underground water main during last Thursday's wind storm, causing the water to be undrinkable.
