BAKERSFIELD, CA -- Bakersfield Police need the public's help to identify and locating a man wanted for armed robbery. Police say on March 2, 2014, at 2:34 p.m. he entered the Stop n Shop Market at 1007 E. Brundage Lane armed with a black semi-automatic firearm.
Police say the man brandished the firearm at the clerk and demanded currency, liquor and cigarettes which he took and fled from the store. There was no vehicle seen. Police describe the man as African American, 25, 5’6”, thin build, wearing a black knit cap, white or gray bandana over his face, black jacket, dark colored pants and black shoes.
