BAKERSFIELD, CA. - In the trial of accused Taft High School shooter Bryan Oliver, a second psychologist is expected to take the stand today.

Psychologist Thomas Middleton took the witness stand for a second day yesterday.

Middleton is an expert witness for the defense. He testified that Oliver has bipolar disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, a sexual disorder, and a learning disability.

Middleton said Oliver's PTSD was caused by physical assault, bullying, and harrassment over a long period of time.

He testified Oliver developed personas -- or characters -- in both fantasy and reality to distance himself from the pain he faced.

Middleton said he doesn't think Oliver was lying when he testified he doesn't remember the shooting.

Today,  Psychologist Dr. Kris Mohandie will take the stand for the prosecution and is expected to contradict some of Middleton's testimony.
